Boy Scout Night at The Arena

JAX Refrigeration teamed up with Money Pages to provide some very excited boy scouts from Wolf Den Pack 473 for the Jacksonville Icemen’s first ever Boy Scout Night held in January.

The young wolves were escorted onto the ice where they were able to hold a real hockey stick and take a shot at a goal. They had the opportunity to meet the President of the Iceman who shared stories of growing up as a scout and how he became the President of this new hockey team. Once the President was finished speaking, the scouts were able to take photos with the mascot, Blizzard as well as receive autographs from several of the players.

JAX Refrigeration invited the young scouts into the suite to watch the game, most had never experienced a game while watching from a suite before. The rest of the evening was filled with pizza, cotton candy and a whole lot of hockey. It was a memorable night on ice for the young scouts who were able to earn new patches to proudly display on their uniforms and score a collectible hockey stick to take home to commemorate the occasion.
