The JAX Refrigeration team focuses on providing an innovative approach to our clients’ needs. Each project is directly managed by experienced professionals – most of them degreed engineers – to ensure the highest in customer service and satisfaction. Collectively, our team holds a multitude of engineering, mechanical and refrigeration contractor licenses that allow us to operate in over 45 U.S. states and foreign territories.
Mark Lowery, President & Founder of JAX Refrigeration
President and Founder
Mark founded JAX Refrigeration in 2010, after more than two decades in the refrigeration and HVAC industry. He is licensed in more than 40 States and provinces for professional engineering and contracting. Mark has a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from the University of Florida and an MBA from Georgia State University. He is also an active member of ASHRAE, IIAR, NCEES and RETA. Personally, Mark is a dedicated husband to his wife, Samantha, and father to his three children: Luke, Caitlin and Ansley.
Ed Trotzke, Senior Vice President
Senior Vice President
Ed is a registered professional engineer, having worked in the refrigeration and mechanical field for 18 years. He has a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and is a member of IIAR and RETA. Ed has been with JAX Refrigeration since its 2010 inception, focusing on project operations and execution. He resides in St. Augustine with his wife, daughter and son.
Raymond Chin, Director of Mechanical Department

Raymond started with JAX Refrigeration in 2015, after working as both a design engineer and project manager in his home state of Kentucky. He earned a bachelors degree in civil engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, one of the nation’s top engineering schools. Raymond was also a next gen mentor with the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. mentoring program. A self-proclaimed “cheer dad”, Raymond is a 3-year coach and prior board member for the Creeks Softball Association as well as a former youth pastor in Kentucky and usher at Celebration Church. He and his wife, Casey, have three daughters: Alexis, Andie, and Addisen.
Ekle Small, Vice President of Engineering
Vice President of Engineering
With nearly three decades of experience, Ekle is a registered professional engineer in more than 30 states. He designed the first modern-era carbon dioxide system in the nation, the largest in the world at the time. His expertise centers on refrigeration system design, utilizing ammonia and Co2 refrigerants, primarily for food and beverage manufacturing facilities. He earned his bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. He joined JAX Refrigeration in 2014 and has worked with many notable brands throughout his career, like Schreiber Foods, Nestlé, Wegman’s, PepsiCo, Publix and Columbus Foods.
Andy Ferguson, President – National Service

Andy joins the JAX Refrigeration team from Team Focus Insurance Group, following a 17-year career with US Assure, Inc., previously known as Zurich Insurance Services. With a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of North Florida, Andy has seen great success in rebranding, retention and business growth throughout his career. During his tenure as a leader, his organization earned the Best Practices Designation by Target Markets and a Spirit of Excellence Award for transparency, processes, goals and strategies. Andy is also an active member of both community and organizational boards. He has been married for 22 years to his wife, Kristin, and they have three boys: Max, Jack and Kyle.
Rob Brodsky, Vice President of JAXCool

Rob received his bachelor of science degree in business administration from The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina. Prior to coming to JAX Refrigeration in 2015, he held management positions with companies like Haskell, Stellar and Pinnacle Roofing that highlighted his expertise in roofing and thermal construction. An avid football fan who coached for 5 years at the high school level, Rob resides in Fernandina Beach with his wife Dana. They have two grown children: Craig and Lanie.
Andy Lueck, Vice President of JAXCool

Andy received his Bachelor of Science in Construction from the University to North Florida. Prior to joining JAX Refrigeration in 2015, he held management positions at Stellar for more than 25 years in the Construction and Thermal departments. Andy holds state roofing licenses in California and Florida, and also is a General Contractor for the State of Florida. Andy and his wife Renee have three children: Piper, A.J. and Sam.
Thomas Jennings, Director of JAX Ind

Thomas’ career started 13 years ago as an onsite field engineer, managing large turnkey design-build construction projects. After six years of traveling in the field, Thomas transitioned into office management, where he focused on integrated skid solutions for end-users, EPCs and OEMs throughout the Americas, Caribbean, Middle East and Canada in the power generation and oil & gas industries. Today, he leads JAX Ind with a keen vision to turn value-engineered site needs into factory skid solutions that build a better product for clientele.
Bobby Yoho, General Manager of RHVACS
General Manager of RHVACS
Bobby has been in the HVAC contracting business since he was 18 years old and is now a licensed mechanical contractor in nine states throughout the southeast. He co-founded Restaurant HVAC Specialty in 1989, before it was acquired by JAX Refrigeration in 2016. Bobby has been recognized by Carrier, Lennox and Johnson Controls for excellence in contracting and commercial sales. In his free time, he enjoys riding and racing motorcycles, surfing, and rocking out with his band, The Time Travelers.
Durby Moore, National Accounts Manager
National Accounts Manager
Durby has more than three decades of experience in the refrigeration industry. He joined the JAX Refrigeration team in 2014 and serves as our national account manager. Durby has worked his way up in the refrigeration industry and has many years of project development under his belt. His vast and extensive experience in system installations, commissioning, maintenance and repairs makes him equipped for many jobs.
Craig Callahan, Business Development Manager

Craig obtained a bachelor’s degree in business administration – finance from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2003, where he was a scholarship athlete in basketball. He enjoyed a 14-year professional basketball career before earning his MBA from the University of South Florida – St. Petersburg in 2016, becoming a Registered Investment Advisor Representative, and finally dedicating himself to a career in business development management. He will work closely with the team to identify business opportunities, build long-term relationships and help JAX Refrigeration reach its full potential. Craig lives in the Ponte Vedra area with his wife, Lauren, and their two children, Cael and Chloe.
Joy Bardin, Vice President of Administration
Vice President of Administration
Joy has more than 20 years of experience in contract administration, and more than 18 specifically in the construction industry. She began her career in the U.S. Navy, an experience that honed her organizational skills and attention to detail. She joined JAX Refrigeration in 2011 as its original operations director before becoming the vice president of administration. She also plays an active role in the charitable endeavors of the JAXCares Foundation. In her free time, Joy values spending time with her husband, Ben, children Crystal and Roland, and her four grandchildren.
